The packaging of our latest female fragrance Victorinox eLLa has been honoured with three WorldStar Awards. The unique flacon design won awards in both ‘Health & Beauty’ and ‘Luxury’ categories. In addition, the Victorinox eLLa concept made an impact on the special ‘Marketing’ jury leading to a further Gold Award. This is exceptional, as it’s the first time in the WorldStar Awards history that a packaging has won three awards.
Matthias Seyfang, CEO of Victorinox Swiss Army Fragrance AG, is delighted about these three awards and explains the idea behind the fragrance packaging: “for the development of the Victorinox eLLa fragrance bottle design, the core values of Victorinox – design, innovation, quality and functionality – have been specifically taken into account. A mirror has been integrated into the bottle to enable a quick beauty check. The rubberised casing offers protection against glass breakage and is well suited for transport. The innovative on/off-closure is replacing the cap and the feminine wrist strap can be used as a key ring”.
The WorldStar Packaging Awards is the most prestigious competition in the industry. The 2016 competition received 293 entries from 35 countries around the world. To be entitled for the WorldStar Awards the entry must be the winner of a national competition, as Victorinox eLLa was in August at the 2015 Swiss Packaging Audience Awards.
